How much? should ask what voltage first
Another option is to take a look at e-bay, I bought a second impact for $38 brand new!
Drove through Wichita Friday and yesterday, didn't see you anywhere!

what was ya doing here? swap meet? i had to go out there and walk about 40 miles,i'm still sore.
my milwaukee is 14.4. i orig bought this on ebay for like 45 for the impact ,bare,no one is selling them now, whats up with that?larryif a man speaks in the forest, and there's not a woman to hear him,is he still wrong?
I took my son and grandaughters to Gymon, OK to meet his wife, she was driving up from Ft Bliss. Drove through Fri eve and Saturday day.
There was a swap meet and no one told me, damn!
If you decide to sell the batteries keep me in mind.

PS, drove through Greenburg(not sure about the name) damn that town took a hard hit from that tornado, they gonna rebuild? Didnt look like much left.
we have a big automotive swap meet 1st of feb every year, big meet ,always cold.
that greensburg tornado took every building in town and they have decided to build back with a "green"theme. looking to do a lot of energy stuff and this idea has really caught on.that little town has commitments from a couple LARGE corps to build there. it will be interesting to watch and see how it goes.
guys on here looking for steady employment for the next several years should check it out if they are interested in relocating. not sure but housing is the biggest problem for workers as there is none. so bring your winobego and tools. larryif a man speaks in the forest, and there's not a woman to hear him,is he still wrong?
What are they gonna do about the well?
your 1500 miles away and you know about the well? amazing. i really don't know,if i remember right it was damaged ,and i would guess that if people in ma know about it they will rebuild it so that you can plan your next vacation to greensburg ,ks.!!! larryif a man speaks in the forest, and there's not a woman to hear him,is he still wrong?
I grew up on the West side of Wichita. So I guess I cheated. Dad and I spent our Saturdays and whenever else we could, driving all over the highways and byways of that great state looking for fishin' holes and points of interest.
i'm a west sider, live here by rolling hills golf course,i don't know how long it's been since you were here ,but the city limits are almost hitting goddard to the west and to the north is built clear to maize ,with commercial devolpment along maize rd clear to about 35th.a guy should of bought some of that swamp land 20 years ago.larryif a man speaks in the forest, and there's not a woman to hear him,is he still wrong?
No kidding, I coulda thrown a rock and hit your house.I lived in Oak Ridge Estates (I think that's what it was called). More or less at Maple and Maize. I haven't been back in almost 10 years. Friends tell me it has changed considerably. My dad got Botanica started back in '87 or '88. Still look as good as it used to?
well i hate to admit it but i've only been to Botanica a couple times,so i don't have a feel if it's as good or gooder than then, looks to me like it's quite a place,it's a bigger tourist attraction than the well!!! that i do know. my daughters grad pics were taken there along with probably a 1000 others. big time place for weddings also.

Is this clip used to hold the battery in place? Depends on what type of plastic to get the right glue. I would call milwaukee and see if they can help you, might be a case of a new "half" to swap over.
My brother did the same thing once, he just order a new outter shell for the drill, swaped out the parts himself. He said it was a cheap fix to his surprise.
No one should regard themselve as "God's gift to man." But rather a mere man whos gifts are from God.
I have had more than one drill/impact what have you take a Brodie off a roof and split a case.
I use a 40watt solder iron and fuse it all back. Sometimes you need to "steal" some surrounding plastic or find some other hunk of something to use as filler..just use a similar plastic..broken car parts, old Mr.Coffee, anything thatwill melt and mix.
After cool file smooth and lightly sand the repair, if posible cross bridge from the back side and leave strength risers across the break. After sanding finish the weld with a coat of superglue.

Try some Plastic Welder. It comes in a dual syringe like 5 minute epoxy, and I found it at Ace Hardware. I glued a sideview mirror back together, but didn't think it would work since there was only about a 1/16" thick edge to glue up. But it held up through slamming car doors and driving wind resistance. I was amazed the stuff really worked.
The mirror did break off again in a car wash, but it didn't break at the glue line. The plastic housing actually cracked in another place. I think this stuff must partially dissolve the plastic, and then the glue cures like epoxy, welding it all together. Like I said, I'm amazed, and will try it on other plastic stuff.

Have you looked into buying another case. I have been pleasantly surprised by some of the prices on the plastic stuff. probably happens a lot so there mey be decent parts availability and pricing.
Modern plastics are hard to glue. The two-part epoxy-like glues (specifically designed for plastic) available from auto parts places are probably your best bet.
I've heard that autobody guys can weld plastic. Newer cars have so much plastic on them that some outfits have invested in plastic welders. I can't remember exactly but they might be ulra sonic.
man your embarrasing me,if i have a profession its bodyman and painter, but with that said ,your right they make a plastic welder, which is basiclly a very hot air soldering gun. you use that and some "plastic welding rod"to make the repair..most plastics that this works with i would describe as flexable plastic. wheel aprons, lower bumpers, lots of items can be welded back as it seems like half of the car is some sort of plastic.
this milwaukee is more of a ridgid, brittle plastic ,and like someone else mention you can melt it back together again with a soldering iron,if i had just a little compatable plastic to use for filler. hate to bust up my drill to get some plastic.
i just thought someone might know of a miricale epoxy or glue to stick it back together again.i'm sure if it takes another nose dive it will break into more pcs..........larryif a man speaks in the forest, and there's not a woman to hear him,is he still wrong?
Check http://www.toolpartsdirect.com. As an example the replacement housing for the cordless drill I pulled up was about 20 bucks for both halves. Seems pretty reasonable.

With the soldering tip you can borrow some melt from the surronding area, you'll see filler is not really needed unless the break is missing something.
Seriosly, I weld plastic more than I care to admit. By hammering the screw on tip flat as you can, it becomes like a furniture burn in touch up tool..but they are mostly 10/15 watts and I found 40 works better. Stab the thin tip in the crack and as you remove it clamp it however ya have to. Then stitch it cross ways.
It takes longer for iron to heat up, then to fix the break.Spheramid Enterprises Architectural Woodworks

I have done quite a bit of plastic fabrication. We use a methylene chloride based adhesive that actually welds the plastic. It is available in a gel consistency. You can also use straight methylene chloride but the technique is a bit trickier.
Check with your plexiglass supplier / signmaking material supply house.
Warning ! Do not wear any rings as it has a bad reaction with gold. Nitrile gloves are a good idea. Read the MSDS.

The problem is that most tool cases are made of a plastic that isn't as easy to weld chemically. It's not acrylic but something else.
If your view never changes you're following the wrong leader
They probably do that so you can't fix things........

Hasn't anyone sugested JB WELD!!
You can repair a cat engine block with it.
Wallyo
How do you get the cat to stand still and not scratch?

What a silly question, you glue it's paws down of course with one minute epoxy.Wallyo

Dammit Wally, I was going to suggest the JB Weld but thought I'd read all the posts first!

why not use duct tape to tape the battery on. duct tape can fix everything
