Last week we turned on our attic-mounted central A/C for the first time this year, and experienced a tremendous foul smell. Believing it to be a dead “critter” of some sort, I spent three days in the attic cleaning the duct work, as well as washing the A/C evaporator coil with water. The smell is still with us – I’m stumped -is there some sort of cleaning solution I can apply?
