Whats the word on HiPurformer polyurethaane glue?
My guys have been using Franklin HiPurformer polyurethane for a while now and joining them today on one of the jobs we’re doing I played around with it for a while and was impressed.
So what’s the word out there. Anyone else using this stuff? How do you all evaluate it? Strength? Durability? Etc?

IIRC he really liked it at the start. But real problem with the cartagres going bad before being used up (and or the gun gunking up, don't remember the details).
And since them has been using the instand glue system. The name excapses me, but it is the same company that has the 3rd-hand poles, write on tape measures and such.
I think that is Fast Cap.
2P-10 is the glue and activater you're trying to recall.
I had good luck with it until my last job. I used it for the self-returns on exterior crown molding. We had some heavy rain before the roof went on and some of the joints opened up. I was less than pleased. I specifically asked the Fast-Cap rep at JLC-Live about using it in this situation with this very job in mind. He said I wouldn't have any problems. Well.... I had a problem.
Weird though..... I've used it in exterior applications before with great success. Maybe a bad bottle? It was brand new, but could have been stored for too long. I know that heat is a killer with that stuff. At $40 a bottle, it's tough to just toss out though.
I heard the same as you regarding the Hi-Pur. Great glue, but spoils if not used up quickly. Also problems with the applicator gun gumming up too much. I think I recall hearing that they changed something to help with the gumming up situation, though. For whatever thats worth.
when it works its great, the glue is EXPENSIVE, only two places in town cary it the gun SUCKS, I went thru 3 and gave up. I would use the system again if they could work out all the bugs.. The damn gun is like a toy, it would be fine if it was just me using it but if i sent it out with the guys it there would be no end to the problems.
