Who paints the lines on sheathing???

Must be retired weather men with part time jobs!!!
Been a carpenter for 20yrs and aint seen them right yet!!!! But after 20yrs you dont need em anyway!!

    They are painted at night in OSB factories by birds known as
    "Red-assed skitchers" The birds are tethered on wires and
    drag across the boards in random intervals. They are an
    uncommon bird but very regular in width-about 16"
