The wife wanted me to put up the Wreath on the porch. I got out the ladder, trudged through the snoe, braced it properly, and put my jogging shoe on the first rung. The foot slipped through, and I went over backwards.
I tried to convince her that I really wanted to make snow angles, but she didn’t believe me. I then recalled that railroad workers MUST wear shoes with real heels, so they don’t slip through the climbing ladders on (sometimes moving) cars, with unfortunate results. I went in, put on the proper shoes and finished the job.
MORAL: Don’t use smooth soled shoes on ladders.

And the lesson is... Don't try to make snow angels while climbing a ladder.
*Yup, and that's why you should wear boots with heels to ride a horse too.
*Just pick something that matches your purse.
*Naw, the lesson is:Tell the Wife to put it up, if she wants it up!
