Does anyone know where I can fine a wood column with solid staves? I really don,t like the finger jointed ones. I am from the Boston area and have tried Braintree, Hingham, Cape Cod and J&C Adams. Mail order would be ok.

Didn't Gustav Stickly come up with his own "finger joint"? Wouldn't staved columns require a spline or biscuit in the joint?
