I’m building a workshop. And I noticed in the latest addition of finewoodworking they are talking about wood floors over concrete in a shop. I already have my slab and framing up. And I have radiant heat in the floors. Would my radiant heat still work if I put plywood over the floor as in the article? And without insulation. And is it worth it. I would have to make one door longer. Is all that worth it. Thanks Hat

Hat,
This subject has come up before, you might check the archives. A few points I remember from the previous discussions:
The wood will act as an insulator, slowing down the response time of the slab during temperature changes.
There is the possibility of moisture buildup between slab and wood floor.
