Please advise on brand and source of a hook that you like.
I just obtained a Toolhangers Unlimited Saw Hanger #21087 and find that when I flip the hook into the stowed position, it contacts the forward handle prior to reaching its detent. Perhaps they have a more appropriate model for the Mag77.

KAS - I don't know the brand, but I can get you one tomorrow (unless they're out temporarily). They sell them at our local lumber yard. I'll check the price. E mail me with your mailing address and I'll drop it in the mail. It's the right one. - jb
*Jim- Make that two....:-) Sam
*OK, I checked this morning on my way through, and they do have 3 in stock. They are "Saw Saver" model - red vinal over steel hook, that is spring loaded to stay against the body of the saw when it's closed, but has a spot that will keep hook at 90 degrees to body of saw when open. List is 13.95. We get a slight discount, maybe 10%. I have them on both of my 77's, wouldn't be without one. - jb
*Jim,I've got this one working okay now. Sorry to have troubled you, but I'm glad to learn of the product you named above. Sounds like you enjoy your saw. Any suggestions for a new worm-drive user?Keith
*Have you bought a rip fence yet? That is the other indespensible accessory. Of course, you probably know that it is 1+1/2" from the edge of the table to the edge of the blade and close to 3+1/2" from the other edge (real handy to know when cutting with a straight edge). Oh, and, don't build like my brother! - jb
