That's interesting. Everything I've heard says that stuff will quit working on January 1 at 12:00:01. Your stuff must have something else wrong with it.
*I guess it's lucky I've already built a house with handsaws. I'm pretty sure they'll still be working in the new millenium.Jon :)
*stubby, man, you're right! I tried my tools right after I read your post and I think it might take a couple days to get 'em back up! Happened mid-afternoon here - must be the time zone thing. - yb
*Bob the Younger, sounds like you're going to have to soak in Anchor Steam for the weekend... better luck Monday. Switch to Sierra, if you run out of Anchor.
*Stictly O'Douls Amber for this old redneck (OK, Sharps in a pinch). But the sentiment is the same. - yb
*Hey Stubby...er mr Giraffe? Were those your tools or Mine? Man, 24 hrs and I really did miss the screwguns...had to change the burner in the bbq...you got some cursin.
*That's funny, my tools were fine, but my workers quit...
*What do you expect, trying to make them work on a holiday.
*Is today a holiday?Canadian New Year perhaps?
*Didn't the government just buy a grundle of Y2K approved hammers for something like $220 a piece?
*No. New Years Day is a holiday. If you set your calendar and clocks to New Years Day then the workers will think it's a holiday. How can you expect them to know it's today when the calendar says it's January 1 and the clocks say it's the middle of the night. After all the computers all will think it's January 1, and they are supposed to be smarter than we are. But at least the workers won't think it is 1900, so maybe they are smarter. But you never know, they may give up power saws and nail guns.
*Are you REALLY sure? By the way, we use hammers and nails along with the handsaws here in VA ... easier to make that wood stuff stay together.Millennially, Steve
*I'm sorry Mike, I must have been on my first cup at that point. Now I'm on my fifth beer. Hee hee. So what exactly were we talking about?
*well, I was hoping you meant you will post pictures from "Hooters", but I'm guessin' your gonna post pics of award-winning, rate raising project in one of my favorite places, Western Montana! - yb
*That's right!I've been stumbling around this office for an hour now and keep forgetting what I'm doing! So you want the Hooters photos too huh?
