After 70 years, I still couldn’t find my front-door key in the dark. Until now. I sat down and thought about it and came up with the idea shown in the drawing. I drilled an off-center hole in the body of the key and put the key back on my key ring. Now I can hold up the ring in the dark, and the educated key will pop out at about a 45° angle. It never forgets.

Very clever and humorous!
Great idea. Keep my house key on a separate ring attached to the rest of my keys for the same reason. Easy to grab because it hangs lower than the rest. You have to find something that works so that your not fumbling in the dark. Thanks for sharing.
