3 Ways to Wrap Cords and Hoses
Maintain the quality of cords and hoses, and avoid kinks and tangles by using proper wrapping technique
In this video, finish carpenter and frequent Fine Homebuilding contributor Tucker Windover demonstrates three techniques for wrapping extension cords and air hoses that will keep them in good condition and save you a lot of frustration when it’s time to unravel them. Tucker uses a daisy-chain technique for his 100-ft. cord and a looping technique for his 50-ft.cord. To avoid kinks, he uses an over-and-under method to wrap his air hose.
