Windows are among the most expensive components that go into a house, and also the most complex. Chosen wisely, they contribute to warming in winter, cooling in summer. Manufacturers have dramatically expanded what’s on the market with a category of super efficient windows that leave double-pane low-e units in the dust. They also come with super big prices.

It’s a tough nut to figure…I’ve come to conclude that VIG May be the best idea in a vacuum insulated glass yet! But of course, at $30.00 a square ft price tag? But then again R-11 anyone?
