The train tracks are on concrete curbs. Before the concrete was completely set, Walter roughed up the surface a bit to give it a more natural look.

LGB trains introduced the G-scale to model railroading. LGB stands for Lehmann Gross Bahn, which means "Lehmann big railway" in German. Because of their size and durability, LGB trains are often used outdoors.
