Design & Construction Week, combining the NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS) and the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), opens in Las Vegas on Jan. 20.
In addition to these two major industry shows, Design & Construction Week includes the International Window Coverings Expo and, for the first time this year, the International Surface Event, and the Las Vegas Market. The shows are separate, but anyone registering for IBS, KBIS, or the window coverings expo gets access to the exhibit floors of all five events.
If you’re planning on going but haven’t reserved a hotel room, time is running out. NAHB says its block of hotel rooms closes on Nov. 17. Early pricing for IBS ends on Dec. 5.
The show combines exhibits of building products and services with educational seminars and presentations on topics as diverse as sales training, social media, energy-efficient building, and job budgeting. Manufacturers often wait to roll out new products until these annual industry shows.
KBIS also sponsors an extensive list of seminars at the conference on business as well as design and construction topics.
