APA-The Engineered Wood Association has redesigned its website to make it easier to track down information on a variety of building techniques and engineered building materials.
The site is a gateway to more than 500 publications and 200 CAD details, APA said, which draw nearly 2-million visitors a year. Navigation is simpler, the search function is more robust, and the site is now optimized for mobile use with content tailored for display on smartphones and tablets, the APA said.
A new section called “Technical Research” has been added to give visitors access to material on the research and testing of building products and construction systems, including projects at the USDA Forest Products Laboratory. For the first time, APA said, technical papers written by the association’s scientists and engineers are available for public download.
You’ll have to register in order to download material, but there’s no fee.
