What about COVID-19?
Public safety is paramount and we all share the responsibility of keeping one another healthy. Following recommendations of health and government leaders, our event has been redesigned with social distancing and safety practices in mind:
• Temperature Checks will be done upon arrival/check-in
• Each seat will be placed six feet apart
• Face masks/Buffs will be available attendees and must be worn during the event, except when eating or drinking at your seat.
• Hand sanitizer stations will be placed throughout the event
We ask that if you have been in contact with persons who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the 30 days prior to the event you refrain from attending for the safety of the population at large.

As a former (and perhaps yet to be again) subscriber to Green Building Advisor, I am grateful that building science is (finally?) making its appearance in the midwest. (Perhaps I missed a previous midwest symposium?)
In any case, I would dearly love to attend, but I work at a nursing home--so far Covid-19-free--and I am pledged to go out only on necessary errands, and to avoid even smallish gatherings for the duration of the pandemic.
Best wishes to all for a convivial, informative--and safe--gathering, and enjoy your Boulevard beer and Joe's Kansas City barbecue.
Thank you especially to Huber Engineered Woods and McCray Lumber for their sponsorship.
Have fun learning.
