How Does it Work?
The course is divided into milestones that allow you to learn at your own pace. Each milestone contains a group of related lessons that are divided into a series of videos that you access on demand. The milestones are released weekly and are followed by a live Q&A session with instructor Justin Fink. If you miss the scheduled live Q&A, it will be accessible on demand. You will be notified when milestones are posted for your viewing as well as when the Q&A occurs. Once you register, you will also have access to downloadable extras that will help you design and build a better deck.

Meet Your Instructor
Justin Fink has more than 16 years of experience in home building, restoration, and woodworking. In March of 2020, he welcomed his first child and founded Fink & Son Carpentry and Woodworking. A Connecticut native, Justin has a soft spot for historic New England buildings. He is committed to constant learning and incorporates modern building practices and environmentally friendly materials into his work. In addition to historic buildings, Justin has worked on more modern structures, building additions and decks, adding upgrades, and creating customized built-ins. He has tackled a wide range of projects, including bars, bathrooms, furniture, cabinetry, and doors, and has helped clients create building layouts that work. Prior to starting his own business, Justin was the editorial director of Fine Homebuilding. |
