"It is what it is."
THANKS FOR THE RELAY.....GETTIN' OLDER AND LITTLE PAINS SHOW THEIR HEAD AND SOMETIMES STICK AROUND LONGER, NOW. ORIGINALLY ALWAYS A HEAVY SHORTER HANDLED HAMMER ALWAYS FLICKED NICE, USUALLY BOBBED OFF THE HANDLE/ HAMMER TO 14.5", THEN WOUND BLACK GAFFERS TAPE ON THE END SO IT HUNG IN THE HAND WELL. ALSO ALWAYS TAPED RIGHT UNDER THE HEAD, A GOOD BUNDLE OF IT, TO SAVE THAT HANDLE FROM STRONG-TIE ABUSE AND OTHER GLANCERS. NOW USING A DOUGLAS AND THEY'RE DESIGNED REAL WELL. I'LL PROBABLY BREAK DOWN SOON TO A 10 STILETTO (AND I THOUGHT THE DOUGLAS WAS HIGH). ALWAYS DOING MOSTLY TRIM AND I ACTUALLY STILL HANG WITH THREE BAGS (BEING FROM CALIF. N'ALL), SO LESS OZ'S IS NICE. THANKS TO ALL, TOM

that is the hammer I most often use. It's getting a little beat up on the face since I disregard their warning to "avoid glancing blows"
but I really like the lightweight on my belt and the feel of it.
