Folks,
This past year there was an article in FHB about 10 steps to faster framing. There was some controversy because there were shortcuts such as cutting square cuts by eye only and letting some non-critical walls be out of plumb a bit. I admit I was sketical myself but decided to try it. Well, after a while I found that I could cut square cuts w/o a square. I also found that I was pretty good at jugding lengths without a tape measure and judging “level’ w/o a level too. In fact with some practice I got to the point where the only tools I needed were a circular saw and power nailer. Not only was it much, much faster but I also felt much more creative. For all of you skeptics out there, here are the pictures to prove it! I am now on a mission to bring faster framing and finish to the world! Enjoy!

Hey Bob,
The house is in Harvard, Mass. It's close to where I used to live, Ever since I saw that article in FHB I was dying to get some pics and rag on that article. I was finally in the old neighborhood this past week!"When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading." ~ Henny Youngman
So what your saying is that you are ragging on FHB because you are not half the carpenter Larry Haun is?
