I would like to get a 14 inch abrasive miter saw. Does anyone have any experience with these cutting steel studs or rebar. Any brands that are better than other? Or any features that one should look for?
Any suggestion are welcome.

Looks like this is a dead question. Does any one cut steel on the job site? How do you do it???
*One day does not make a topic dead. Anyway, had good luck with an old Milwaukee chop saw years back, now have a B&D Industrial unit about 5 years old. Works fine, can cut about 6 at a time. Lots of dust and sparks, though. Heard there are carbide blades now that work on light gauge stuff, but haven't tried them. Good luck. Rich.P.S. maybe post this on Fine Homebuilding Breaktime for more responses. Check the Archives there, first. Probably others have already asked and answered this question there. RM
