Does anyone have some good advice on 15-gauge finish nailers? I’m looking to purchase a new one and of course want to get the best one. I’ve used senco, and they work well, but wondered what other guys are using. Does anyone have anything to say about the dewalt?

I'm in the market myself and after an awful lot of research, I think I'm going to go with the one from MaxUSA. A little steep at $259, but gosh their nailers are nice. Would love to re-tool and have all Max on the truck.
Might get more hits over in the "tools" folder though.
Oh boy I hate to bring this up in fear of being lynched. I bought a new DeWalt. I have recently used a Senco, Craftsman (hated it) but man I really like this DeWalt. It is lighter, easy to adjust and has good power than anything I have used in the past. DanT
Must be that time of month again. This subject comes up like clock work. That said the Senco 41XP or the hitachi are both very good guns. Light wheight, good power etc.
For some reason, I've accumulated all Bostich nailers, 15 & 18 ga finish, stick framer and roofing gun. The 60FN 15 ga finish nailer has done well, no misfires or jams, plenty of nails at the local lumberyard. But if I were to buy again, I'm thinking of a different nailer with a bigger head to the nail, either Hitachi or Senco.
The max guns are supposed to be the best I hear. I have the new very light magnesium Bostich and like it very much. Coupled with the light poly hoses, they make it very easy to be up high and wield the tool all day. So far so good.
I've got the bostich, too. No problems. One jam in 3 years. I do agree with one of the posts above, that I would like the nails to have a little more of a head on them. Haven't seen the other brands nails, so I don't know if they're any heaftier.
Love the senco 18 gauge and would look strongly at either Senco or another bostich if I was to pick.
One way to check power of nailing gun is to find out the driving power of the nailer. The Bostitch is 400 in./ lbs. of driving power. The model is N62FNK-2 I've used the nailer and can not find a piece of wood that it wouldn't drive a 2in nail thru. Did you find the driving power of the other nailers you were looking at? also the nailer is oil free, no residue on your work, attached is web site of nailer. Good luck.

I just bought the same Bostich N62 FNK2 nailer for $165 -- A show special at Builder's Trade. I haven't used it much yet, but I love the combination of weight and power. What a difference between that and my old Paslode MU 212.

I have a Dewalt & 2 Hitachi 15 ga guns. The new Hitachi has an air gun built into it which is really nice when doing detailed work or just to dust yourself off. For me it's Hitachi, I like the Dewalt to but it has not proven itself like the Hitachi has. Heard Max was good from a friend, Senco is fine.

Got the dewalt 15 guage angle. Also have the 18 guage brad. Got the 15 cause I liked the 18 so much. Bad decision. I hate my DW anlge nailer. It plainly sucks. Too finiky about nails and doesn't have enough power. Not that I think the Bostitch is all that great but I have a lot of time in on one and it is way better than mine.

I got the PC and have used it for quite a while. Im pretty happy with it.

Don't rule out a 16 ga. Have you ever tried pulling one of those things out? I have a Bostich and couldn't be happier.
Have to agree with the Bostich fans. I use this everyday laying hardwood flooring and have never had a problem. Maybe jammed twice in the 3-1/2 years I have had it. Typically using 2" nails, and I think it could drive them through aluminum if I had to. (OK, not really). Anyway, heard alot of good about the Hitachi also, but I think I'll add anohter Bostich before I change.
