Whaddya think? 135,000 miles, body in good shape, nice tires, the hi (bubble?) top.
I’d have to basically gut it in order to make room for my tools. There’s a lot of glass that I could black out. Anyone out there using a conversion van for work?
Thanks all!

I have the same year conversion van. It has a 302 with 200,000 mi. Still runs great, but is a dangerous dog due to low power output. Maybe the 351 would be OK. Make sure you have enough power to haul your equipment with it. Also this van is hard to work on, so it costs a bit to have engine serviced. They are built tough though.
I bought a 1988 Chevy conversion van in April 2001. Paid $600. I've changed the oil, put in a newer battery, bought two tires, and had the U-joint replaced. Still running great. I've got a ton of stuff in it and ladders on top, and still room for materials when I'm not getting enough to have it delivered.
Without doubt, it is the best value for the money I've ever received.
