I am building my own house and have a 2 story wall of windows to raise. It is approximately 18×18 with the first floor walls on both sides already put up. What I am looking for is techniques on wall raising something of this size and weight and what you use to brace the wall for added strength. I’ve been taking pictures of the construction process which I will be posting as soon as I upload them to my computer.
Thanks for the help.

If you have access, hiring a boom truck w/operator is safe, and won't hurt your wallet much. (Find one who has good equipment and is competent. Most yards and rental companies offer the service, along with some independents).
Thanks for the advice. I finished the wall today and the lift is coming tomorrow to hoist the wall up. I used TrusJoists LSL 20 foot studs and was pretty impressed with them.
Thanks again
I would approach this from the point of using steel beams to stiffen the wall during the raising process and to definitely hire a crane.
Use studs long enough to reach from plate to plate, a form of balloon framing. A crane is also a good idea, or you could take the Johnny Cash idea of "one peice at a time" .
