What the world needs is a 24 hour Lowes.
Think of the time you could save not standing in line.
Not fighting traffic to run for that one thing you need.
Beat the heat of the day.
ok ok. I’d settle for a 24 hour Depot.

The recipe for linoleum hasn't changed much in nearly 170 years, yet it's still one of the greenest floors money can buy.

They do have them somewhere, here in Austin they have one that stays open until Midnight.
I guess it used to stay open 24 hrs. but the theft was so bad the had to change the hrs.

We had a 24 hr depot here in San Antonio for about 2-3 yrs, then about a year ago it closed at midnight.Do it right, or do it twice.
There is, or was, not sure if it's still 24 hr. HD in St Louis and KC
Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark, Professionals built the Titanic.
we have a 24 hr HD about 15" from my house. it's really good for early morning runs. there's nobody else there at that hour, but of course there's hardly anybody working there either.
good luck rg
15" from your house ??? That's pretty close.
Doesn't matter if any employees are there or not - They're not much help anyway.Men are brave enough to go to war, but they are not brave enough to get a bikini wax.
When Anchorage Home Depot went 24 hours, they weren't ready with enough clerks for all the late-night customers they got (who were hoping to avoid the usual lines?). But now, alas, they are only open from 6 am to 10 pm. Don't know if they discontinued it for theft reasons or not. But I agree, a great idea. Remember when (1984?) supermarkets used to close?

My little "burg" has a Lowe's and a H Depot right across the street from one another, both close a 9:00. 45 minutes away in the suburbs of Detroit is a 24 hr. H Depot. One of the assistant managers for H D told me their busy weekends gross over 3 million, where as a 1 mil weekend for our little town is huge. Our little Lowe's & H D has enough trouble keeping the shelves stocked can you imagine trying to get anything when they are "having" a 3 million dollar weekend?
Did some work in Vancouver last year and they have a 24 hr home despot (to service the film business i think) and it is the most unorganized messy out of stock hd ever. I suspect its because the different shifts dont give a heck what the next shift has to deal with and probably even intentionally try to screw with the next shifts due to low wage and working conditions issues.
Sometimes I'm in the local hd at opening time and they are having there pep talk in the store and the employees have to take turns leading the company cheer ,it's a laugh. cheers Rik
