4 panel shaker interior door source?

| Posted in General Discussion on November 9, 1999 03:30am

If I may add a comment. I visited Hancock Shaker Village over the summer and many of the panels I had seen pictures of appeared flat, but upon seeing the actuall item they were raised. They made what is called a pillow panel, that had a soft raised center portion. It did actually look like a pillow. I also saw many flat panels in use. I would reccomned a visit to Hancock if it is not too far for your to visit. We stayed at a hotel, but there are several nice B&B’s in the area. As a plus it is only about 2 hours, if that, from Cooperstown NY.

    Rich B, et. al.

Ray Rhodes=end of Packers as we know them. he was the WORST
possible choice, aside from Bart Starr and Forrest Gregg.
What a chump. Every week it gets worse and worse.

Calvin-watch out boy, what you say about the Steelers. I'll
put the '74-'79 Steelers against any team EVER.

ok md. but not one for the thumb. and i think that was the era of the famous joe turkey jones attempted spiking of terry bradshaw....not that i condoned it, but the heat of the moment. and that was after jack lambert's "put a skirt on em" qoute to opposing qb's. ahhhh, the old days. boy, times were much simpler then.
i have not had time to check on that bosch angle thing. are you sure? reading here sometimes surprises me....or is it fools me.
mr. buck, i apologize now. but when we really get back at it, it'll be fun to go at each other again, won't it?

*Mad Dog - I know jack about football but everyone in Philadelphia knows Ray Rhodes is an idiot. The Eagles are already doing better. I feel sorry for the Packers!

*I'm sure part of the reason was the Packer's felt like they had a surplus of receivers. But it still seems like they could've got more.I sometimes wonder just how good various coaches are. Clearly, Mike Holmgren is capable.Rich Beckman

*Capable? That guy is GOOD! We haven't seen anything like this around here since Chuck Knox first came. Holmgren is doing it with basically the same people that were here last year. That guy can make a difference. Unreal. Parcells is good too. Look what happened to New England when he left. Jimmy Johnson in Miami. Jim Mora's defenses wherever he goes. Some folks have it, some don't. Just like any other profession.

*"Mr. Buck"???Is my Dad in the room? The way things are going for our teams, trying to piss off each others fans might be the only fun thing to do on Sundays!Years ago,Dad and I went to Cleveland to watch a Browns/Steelers game.We sat way up in the cheap seats in Browns country. The Steelers won and we survived the crowd.(All in good fun).Move in time to Jacksonvilles first season. Some lady was on the news complaining that her husband was insulted at the stadium because he was wearing Jaguars colors!...I should hope so!We need each other(Pgh & Cleveland),nobody else knows how to play!!!

*buck jr., You've got it....nail on the head....it's more, much more than a game. It's life as we know it.Bet we get a better draft pick.

*That was a nightmare game the Packers had against the Seachickens last week. Then to have a field goal blocked at the end yesterday...bummer (that looked pretty close on film). But the Bears are no slouches. The Seahawks only beat them when they missed a 40 some yard FG last play of the game. And Detroit is real tough. The Packers will be OK.

      * calvin,

That type of door should be available locally. Would the panels be raised or flat, most Shaker panels were flat.

*Browns suck.I know a source in Pittsburgh, but seeing as you're from Cleveland that will be a problem.See ya Sunday!

*browns suck now, steelers have always sucked. see you sunday. if browns dont lose by 50, would you consider the referral.

*that should shut 'em up till next year! now if it warms up, doesn't rain and they can do it again, i'll have fun in the new dog pound this wkend. the excitement mounts

*I appreciate your optimism jim, but after watching the Dallas game, I stand by my earlier observation. The Packers were flat. I still think the obvious culprit is Ray Rhodes. The only solid win we've had was against the Chargers, and they haven't shown much since then. This is what happens when you hire a head coach with an established track record ofi losing.Rich Beckman

          11. Guest_ | Nov 15, 1999 07:27pm | #16

*I didn't watch that Dallas game, but it must have been bad. How the heck does the defense give up all those points to the Cowboys minus Aikman, Irvin, and Smith? Things are not lookin' that good, you're right. Man, those Seahawks are riding the "we believe" wave now. 7-2 geez. How the heck did the Packers ever let Derrick Mayes go for a 5th round pick? That guy makes things happen.

          12. Guest_ | Nov 16, 1999 03:19am | #17

*Did I say "Steelers"?, I meant Jaguars!! Luckily we were out of town(at the Grand Canyon...undescribable) and only had to watch the very end of the game which national t.v. switched over to.Went from looking at one beautiful gaping hole in the ground, to one ugly gaping hole in our team!Go team, Rah..Rah.. and all that good fan crap!
