Rain drives hard on the side of the house and falls in sheets to the foundation. It then flows slowly along the foundation toward the front of the house. I want to form a channel drain to help speed the water away. I think that it would be good to make the channel out of concrete.
My problem is that whenever I have played with concrete outside it eventually separates from the foundation, cracks, and leaks.
How would you make an channel drain 50′ x ~4″ that runs along the foundation?
