I recently finished a new house I’m building for myself. The house is 2200 heated squaRE feet, and has mostly 9 foot and one 10 foot ceiling.I have a zone heating and a/c system with 4 zones, one of which is an upstairs office. My a/c man put a 4 ton outside unit which I think is too small. It seems to run all the time and doesn’t cycle like it should.I’ve always gone by the 500 square feet to a ton rule. This tells me I need at least a 4.5 ton unit.Does anybody have any input on this?
