A story in today’s KC Starless about the price of building materials had this little bit in it.

“The latest national wholesale price for framing lumber is $473 PER BOARD FOOT, compared with $327 in December, according to Random Lengths Publications Inc., of Eugene, Ore., which tracks prices of wood products. That reflects a 45 percent increase.”
At that rate I think that will tear down my house and salvage the lumber and resell it. Then build a new one with ICF’s. Even with the increase in concrete cost I will make a profit.
