   *Jack, I wanted to say the same thing but hesitated in fear of starting another fred hates gabe hates fred string.As for you rich, it seems to me that you would just knock off the overhang on that gable side and add on.Pete Draganic

   *Are you adding a "tip out" to a square or rectangular pole building? In my experience pole buildings arent built on slabs, slabs are poured in the existing buildings.JonC

   I am planning on adding a 16 ft addition to a pole barn I have. It will be built on a slab. My question is this: How can I best tie the addition and the original building together? It is There is a 1 foot overhang. I am using trusses on 8 foot centers with purloins.
