Does anyone know where I can get adjustable strike plates for entry doors? I have seen the ones from Mag security but they are about 2 1/2″ high and won’t directly interchange with a 2 1/4″ high normal strike plate. Any help is appreciated!

Thermatru uses them on their doors, not sure of the size. You might go to a distributor, stuff like that is usually in a box under the counter.

The Therma-Tru adjustable strike won't work in a replacement or retrofit situation. Its two-piece design has the base part wrapping around the front edge of the strike jamb and onto the jamb's back side. The jamb prep mortise is not the same as for an ANSI 2-1/4" strike. You would need to remove your door frame, and rework its strike jamb, in order to install the Therma-Tru strike. Consider instead, one of the strikes that has a bendable heavy-gage tab in the hole the latch goes into when the door is closed. It will fit right into your existing strike mortise. The strikes I have worked with have a small slot in the tab, into which you can get a screwdriver tip, for giving the tab an upward bend. Degrees of bending, and it doesn't take much, cause the door to latch tighter against the weatherstrip when closed. There are other designs, but this one is pretty simple.
Micro has it right, don't know why I immediately thought about those bogus slide adjustible strikes. The strikes with the slot come standard in many lockset pkgs, you should be able to find em in hardware.

Mike,
Avoid the Thermatru stuff if at all possible. I have one of their entry doors, and the over all quality is not that good. I'm speaking of the door and hardware.
Opinions vary, this one is mine.
