Is aluminum siding still made? Does anyone still put it up? My supplier has not carried it for a long time. Said there might be one place in the baltimore area that still carries it.
Looking at a home inspection punch list that includes replacing damaged aluminum siding. Sounds like an exercise in futility.

My supply house does but only in White. Depending on how bad the damage is, you may be able to make a decent patch with coil stock.
I had a few small bad spots on my duplex and my guy basically patched it with the coil stock and a few rivets. Is it high end? Nope but for a rental, it serves its purpose.
a few lengths got folded in the wind- cosmetic damage only. This is the "wood grained" dutch lap siding , so coil stock won't work, but thanks I had not thought of that. Damaged sections are on the back of the house. I was the one who swapped them out for the section above the garage where they originally got bent, maybe 6 months ago, before the house went on the market. I looked for a better spot to steal some good pieces off but there was no having it. Explained then that I could not find any tin siding.
Maybe you could ask a recycling center--there is one near me and recently the guy I work with took all the old aluminum siding we removed from a house to the recycler and actually got quite a bit of money for it. If the recycler in your area had some that was fairly carefully removed, you might be able to re-use it. (It's pretty easy to remove without damaging it, so you might be able to find some good stuff.) Maybe even ask other remodelers for stuff they've removed.
they make vinyl coated coil stock you could bend up for a repair!
run a ad on craigslist for wanted, keep rerunning it to keep it toward the top, someone there surley has some pcs laying around.
i have it on a house, except it is a 8" exposure.when i built the addition i used hardi, then painted it all. you cannot pick up the difference, the woodgrain on the hardi is almost a perfect match.
if a man speaks in the forest, and there's not a woman to hear him,is he still wrong?
