I used an Alpaca once.
I don't want to hear about your love life.;o)
Yeh... That'll work.
OK, your loss.
" Alpolic"
Alpo + LIC
Is that salt lick for dogs?
Seriously I appears tha Alpolic is brand name and not a secific product.
And the AlpolicXXX products appear to be sheet products and not necessarly directly comparable with Azek with is mostly linear products.
Which specific Alpolic product are you talking about and for what kind of an application.

.
A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
True.I saw some free lengths of alpolic this evening on craigslist. They were described as plastic covered aluminum.Doesn't seem like it is thin plastic. Looked like a good switch hitter for thin azek. With the difference being, you could fold it and it would stay that way.I remembered the post about someone looking for post sleeves, and I wondered if anyone had tried that sort of thing with the alpolic.Seems you could fold it in a brake the same as any other sheet metal. To cover a post, you could end up with no folds, but 4 seams... All the way down to 3 or 4 folds, and just one seam to hide.Anything from gutters to siding as large panels, could be made from this stuff.I think "shingle sculptures", like BT's own "Crash" does with cedar, could be done with this as well.
Yeh... That'll work.
Imagine 'board and batten' siding done with this. Maybe using azek or trex or something similar, for the battens ?
Yeh... That'll work.
