Anyone ever use this stuff or see it up close?
I was thinking it’d trap moisture and rot the wood from the inside….but they say it’s one way permeable. Other thought was expansion and contraction problems……but they say it’s flexible too.
If all that’s true….now I’m wondering about cost.
Just sounds too good to be true. MY painter and I both heard their radio ad’s recently…….he’s real curious about any info I can dig up.

Never any personal experience with it but they or a similar product on display at the local home and garden show here.
Ever wonder why all those pictures on their website are from far away? Stuff looked like crap from with in 6 feet of it. Looks to plasticy and cheap. Maybe it was a bad display but I have to imagine they would have made a decent dispaly for the show
I talked to a guy I worked with and he had a bad experience with it when he demo'd a house it was trapping moisture and rotting from the inside. It may have been in their early days, so maybe the new stuff is better.
Have you ever heard the phrase if it looks like $#@! and it sounds like $#@! then it must be $#@!. How about if it sounds to good to be true it probably is!
Seriously I heard that SEARS bought out a company that was doing it in the North East and they have been migrating south with it. I think the cost is comparable to stucco. I have never seen it up close before so I don't know about that. In theory it sounds great. You could have your house coated and never have to paint again. Problem is what happens on the inside of the walls? Hopefully the R&D department for whomever makes the product has thought that through. History is a great teacher. Remember Masonite? Dryvit? It was the latest and greatest thing now it's a class action law suit!
On another note hows your business doing? If memory serves you were in a slump about a year ago this time. Hopefully you have made a comeback and are doing well again. If I am thinking of another guy please accept my apologies.
might be another guy...might be me.
was laid off last Feb after giving employee status a try......hit the ground running and haven't stopped yet.
I'd say ya never have to apologize for wishing someone well...even if it is the wrong guy!
