Couldn’t find Jeff Buck’s rag on Amazon, so I started a new one(thread not rag).
I’ve gotten stuff from them before with no problem, so, after I read Jeff’s beef, I thought I’d do an independent survey…
Just got some Stabila levels, man, a torpedo level with square ends, yahoo, in a week and a half. Waitin’ on a Fein hardwood blade, but it’s no big deal. I’d deal with them in a heartbeat again…

I deal with tool crib of the north almost exclusively as i dont have to pay taxes and shipping cost is minimal. I did find a new tool store but havent delt with them very much. I do feel very confortable buying stuff from tool crib and they have treated me very well.
*I buy tons of stuff through Amazon (Tool Crib).Never had a problem except for a few back-orders that took a while to get here. Not all their stuff is as cheap as you can buy it locally. You gotta watch out. But most of it is. In Dallas we pay 8.25% sales tax on tools bought here. For a big item, you can save a lot buy not having to pay the man sales tax. On a small item, it doesn't really add up to much.Ed.
*Yup, when I can't find something around here (we've got the big boxes and a Woodworker's Supply), I hit the net. I've had good experiences with them in the past and didn't want Jeff's one bad experience to turn folks off of a good resource. Just ordered more levels from them tonight...
