I’ve been a subscriber to FH since issue #19 (January ’84) and over the years have purchased products from the many fine companies that advertise in the magazine. I have never had any issues with the products or services purchased, until recently.

A few months back, I purchased flooring from a new advertiser in FH, American Hardwood Flooring. I liked the business concept of buying hardwood flooring directly from the mill. At the time of purchase, I was told that my order would arrive in a couple of weeks. Almost three months later, nothing. The company has been unwilling to provide updates or estimates on delivery since they cashed the check. Through legal means, I’m now in the process of seeking a complete refund, legal and court fees, and damages from the delay of my project.

Has anyone else experienced such problems with this company or am I simply their first and only customer?
