I purchased a house a few years ago, that is now approximately seven years old. One of the windows in my great room is fogging on the lower sash. This window is stacked above another window in that room, with a half moon window on top of that. There are a total of seven windows in that room. I have done a search on many of the web search sites and have been unable to find anything about “Ampane Windows”.
I am reading the word AMPANE in the metal strip in between the glass.
They are white vinyl with a grid inbetween the glass.
Can anyone help me as to where I may find these windows?
Many thanks,
Brett

AMPANE may just be what the manufacturer of the metal spacer calls his spacer bar.
The previous posting is correct. Ampane is the space manufacturer. Good luck, try measuring the glass size (if it is vinyl the stops should come out) then determine the thickness of the glass unit and contact your local glass company.
Look VERY CLOSELY at the glass. And at different angles and lighting. The glass manufacture and date code should be etched in it. But it is very light and unless you know to look for it, it is hard to see. It will be near an outside edge.
Now that might be the glass company and the window manufacture is the one that warranties the glass, but this is a starting point.
gee..I thought AMpane meant..
Anothr Mucked up PANE..
