I acquired a sink and faucets from a trendy “antique” store. The faucet handles and spout are in the shape of fish. I can’t find anything like it anywhere, but would like to use the handles and spout in my bath remodel. I have been trying to take the faucet out of the old sink and cannot remove it completely. Should I break the sink? I have used power blaster and have managed to separate much of it but don’t know what I can “break” and what I should keep. I don’t need to use the original “innards”, but I also don’t know if I have a rare find.

Borrow a digital camera and some technical help to add to your post some pics.

Is the pipe that connects the valves to the spout above or below the sink surface? Are the faucet stems vertical coming out of the sink top?
Have you gotten the handles off? Are there skirts around the valve bodies? Have you removed them yet?
