Has anyone seen or heard of this new product by Andersen? It’s a sash replacement kit in their Woodwright line. I’m guessin’ it’s like a Tilt-Pac. Couldn’t find squat online.
Hopefully it will be at the Builder’s Mart in Timonium, Md in March.

'Nemo me impune lacesset'
No one will provoke me with impunity
All I can find on the net are little bits of info, no specs or pics. It sez it'll be out in 2006. Someone said they saw it at a show in Philly. I guess I'll have to wait 8-(View Image

According to their website, the kits are already available. I haven't personally seen any at the lumberyards yet, but I also haven't been looking, either. Have you asked at a local Andersen dealer (other than the geniuses at HD)????

I've installed sash replacement kits by Marvin and Jeld Wen. The Jeld Wen product sucks compared to Marvin but that's no surprise. They work very well but by far the most laborious part of the process, to do it right, is properly insulating the weight pockets after removing the weights and cords. Just shoving strips of fiberglass in there with a stick didn't seem appropriate considering the objective of the job so we cut out a larger access hole, larger than the original weight pocket panel, and used spray foam. The new access cut out is covered, of course, but the new jamb liner. Sorry, haven't heard of the Andersen product.
Edited for typo.
