’95 Ram pickup with auto tranny.
You know that orange piece inside that shows you if you’re in D, R, N 2 and 1? Well, that orange piece must have slipped or something because I can’t see it, so can’t see what gear I’m in. No big deal, I can still feel which gear I’ve put it in, but, how would I go about fixing this?

I fixed one in my dad's 95 dodge ram. theres a spring made from really thin wire on one side and a cable of smaller wire, hooked on an eyelet conected to the colum shifter.
So if your truck has a colum shifter you probably need to replace the small cable to the eyelet, my dad's wore out at the eyelet point.
I used a piece of florists wire, and it was a huge pita. you have to get the wire length just right, and you need two needle nose pliers, to do it. And you'll also have to take apart the dash and colum.
It's not a fun job!
