thanks for the help regarding the ridge location. My next question is how do you determine the location of the last common rafters of an un-even pitched cottage end? Also, if the pitch of the major common rafter is 12/12 and the pitch of the minor roof is 8/12 what would the pitch be for the hips? Thanks for any help you may be able to lend. Bill Sallustio
