Where does the wire go? Some heat pumps have an outdoor thermometer and some have a frost sensor, this is too far away to be frost. If it is a sprinkler rain sensor that is a wierd location.
"If it is a sprinkler rain sensor that is a wierd location."That it is. And I was thinking the same as you that it was an OAT sensor. But look behind it on the wall to the left. There is a receptacle with a cord feeding a box which is most likely a sprinkler control box..
.
A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
Yeah I saw the in use recpt cover and box, but where does that wire go? Did not google to see the various rain sensors, it does not look like the ones I have seen in the past ( but that was a distant past).
Ding ding we had a winner before. BARMIL get the biscuit.
