Can anyone recommend a good mailorder source for SS screw eyes (aka – eyebolts).
I’ve checked my local HD and they only carry Zinc…and the smaller speciality hardware stores in my area don’t stock them as well.

Alan,
Check again at your HD. Mine have SS screw eyes, etc but they are in the rope and cable section not in the hardware area...maybe the guys you talked to didn't know that???

Hi, Alan-
Don't forget one of the tried and true sources of SS hardware- marine supply houses. One that I use has a local store as well as online, West Marine- http://www.westmarine.com. Do a Google search on marine supply or marine hardware for more.
