I know the PLS-180 is the sweeheart here but this one looks pretty good. It had better be, I just bought it on the Bay. Unused for $201 delivered. Darn thing is $699 on A’zon.

By considering things like energy-efficient mechanicals, window orientation, and renewable energy sources, homes can be evaluated to meet the energy codes. Here's what the IRC has to say.

That looks cool,
For that price if it is in the condition promised then I think you did good.
I was in the market for the pls180 and was steered by the BT crowd to the Stanley Fat Max for way less dough.

The seller is one with excellent feedback. Said he bought it for a job and ended up going to a desk job and not using it. I feel real good about it and him from our communications. Said he bought it new at Lowes for $575.
I have a couple of the crosslines that I got as closeouts at Lowes, a david white round type (not visible outdoors) and the mark 2. The mark 2 died in one plane, managed to totaly kill it while trying to fix it. The other one was missing the base/battery cover.
Only problem I see with the Fat Max I have seen is lack of pulse mode for detector. Almost got one at HDT.
Perhaps I have the model name incorrect. The link I had to it is on my now crispy old hard drive. The one I was contemplating had a detector. The whole kit was around $150.00[email protected]
Only Fat Max with detector I could find was one that is rotary and almost $1k.
All ya need to know:

Thanks, should have done the search. Very good review! Should post it on Amazon. The accuracy did give me a little concern but IMHO a lot of these devices are more accurate than they promise, the old "under promise and over deliver". Hopefully this will be the case. Most of my work is way less than 100'. It should be more accurate in closer.
Anyway at $201 should not be too hurt. Before I found it I bought one of the Robo lazr cone deals with the remote rotator and line generator. It may go back on eBay when I get it. I may mount a mirror on it so the beam will point down slightly and drive our cats crazy (crazier).
It was hard to find under the search....I only was able to find it because I knew it was there, because it was my review. View Image View Image
Our finish carp uses it all the time and really likes it. Had it for about a year. He has had no complaints with it.
You got a good price too.
Thanks for the input!!
One ending this afternoon, currently $150 plus shipping, new in box.
