We all always have to go looking for that guy. Worse than being his mother. Anyone heard from him and how business is going for him?

By considering things like energy-efficient mechanicals, window orientation, and renewable energy sources, homes can be evaluated to meet the energy codes. Here's what the IRC has to say.

Hey Mike! Here I am. I've been hanging out at JLC mostly since they screwed up this board. Occasionally, like now, I pop over here to see if things have picked back up. Business has been interesting. just when I think I'm out of work and about to starve all hell breaks loose and I'm up to my eyeballs in projects. things have picked up again and I'm booked out til about mid mid august. at that point if all comes together like it looks, I will be starting a whole house remodel and be busy for at the very least the next six months. (hey I'm only one guy!). the client got my name from the local 84 lumber where the manager spoke well of me. the project started out small but the scope keeps evolving and he is selling off several acres of land he owns to finance the project so the money is there as well. we plan on finalizing the scope in early august. that gives me plenty of time to line up subs. I'm also building a bar for a fire loss at a local hotel. I was called by the owner of a local fire and water loss restoration contracting firm (the owner just so happens to be my neighbor who's basement I recently finished) to do the bar because they wanted someone who does fine detail work. I may also have struck a deal with them on taking over requests for remodels that they don't do. could be a good year if just half of this stuff pans out. How have you been mike? I was thinking about you the other day and was going to send an email but then this thread was here. take care and drop me a line.

Nothing is impossible...It just hasn't been done yet.
Steve good to hear things are going well for you. Hope they stay moving in the right direction.

Know a little about alot and alot about little.
Steve M,
Glad to hear business is going well. Don't be shy, treat us to some pictures of your work. I hope the big remodel works out for you. Just make sure the homeowner does not plan on living in the house while you work. (G) Good Luck.TCW Specialists in Custom Remodeling.
Hellllllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooo Steve,
Excellent! I'm glad things are working out for you. Isn't it nice to see when work just adds upon itself like your neighbor's basement turning into a big project. Thats great.
Just don't forget to keep marketing even while you are busy so you always have work waiting for you. And its easy to do by just doing great work at your present projects. Folks will see that and you will indeed stay busy.
Me, I'm still looking around. Did finally move into the house. The wife is EXTREMELY happy about that!
Good to hear from you and keep in touch...
