Anyone with experience with Ipe deck tiles?

I am considering using Ipe deck tiles from Advantage Lumber  for an upcoming project.  The clients are on board but I have some resrvations.  I see how the tiles lock together but what is the attachement to the deck?  The corner fasteners seem pretty thin too.  I could see water not draining and turning to ice then haeving the deck.  I would appreciate any thoughts and insights.

    I have no experience whatsoever with Ipe Deck Tiles. 

    Could you post a link to this product and maybe with a little thought, someone might be able to help you out.
