anything better than fabulon poly
i used fabulon poly about 4 years ago on advice from this site, worked good,i had to order it in which was a hassle.but it has held up well.
so now i’m looking at 2 jobs coming up wth refinishing floors on the agenda.
any better/newer products/higher tech any better?
if a man speaks in the forest, and there’s not a woman to hear him,is he still wrong?

I remember the fabulon, they used it for bowling alleys, naptha based. Good way to get high if you can spare the brain cells.
I've used water based polyurethane with great results. The stuff I've been using is called Dura Seal and I've heard they have an aluminum oxide finish but I have not tried it.
A recent discussion on this topic gave some rave reviews of Ace Hardware's brand of water based poly. http://forums.prospero.com/tp-breaktime/messages?msg=111985.1

Do you mean how do i pretend to be frenchy ?
Or how do you apply shellac as a floor finish/
I am not touching either one with a 10' pole. LOL
I have used Varathane (oil base poly) in the past. It's durable enough but I wasn't happy with my finish.
