Awhile back I asked the question are the above committees jerks or what?
Well they were not jerks just lazy and the fact that I was trying to get the house design approved while being 900 miles away did not help. When I went up there I accomplished in 7 days what had taken about 7 months of almost constant mental and emotional turmoil, not to mention financial loss of a new architect designed home which they rejected anyway with no explanation. The new committee was very specific in their objections so I could intelligently reply and I redesigned the house and they approved it in short order. Thanks to all of you who replied to my first message. I also enlisted the aid of a local builder who helped immensely.
