Anyone have the good, the bad and the ugly about using the prefinished plank ceiling product by Armstrong? http://www.armstrong.com/resclgam/na/ceilings/en/us/
I saw it in a thread over in House Chat. Looking to use it in a semi-cathederal living room- not looking forward to finishing V T&G and this product looked interesting.
Thanks

I put it up in a large family room and kitchen. Stiff neck.
time consuming as one man, two man might make it go quicker. No scrap to think of, at least in this situation. Staggered start, same size pcs so the LONG room looked in pattern. Was thinking ramdom, but that seemingly would take too much time, going to furring, trying to be totally ramdom? Bevels call attention to ends.
Looks good, cleanable. Stimulated pattern simularities aren't easy to pick up. As is usual with this type of product, screwed on clips at the groove, it might be a problem repairing a middle pc.
Need expansion, so think up the perimeter trims b/4 you start.
A great place for Information, Comraderie, and a sucker punch.
