Hello everyone:a friend of mine is opening up a restaurant and he asked me to help him install some chairail for him, nothing fancy just some straight stock.
The question is how do you install it over drywall with metal studs.I was thinking of using some liquid nails ,and then just tacking the rail up with my finish nailer just to hold it for the glue to dry.
sound ok?
Thanks Greg

You've got the right idea. Drive two nails in at 45 degree angles opposing each other, and they should hold fine until the adhesive sets up.

1 5/8" or 2 1/4" #1 square drive trim screws work well too!
