attic stairs

The hardware (hinge/spring mechanism) on my attic pull downs stairs is nearing end of life however the actual stairs are in good shape.  It looks fairly simple to replace the hardware however I could not find this hardware at the big box store.  Anyone know if this hardware / re-build kit is available?
